About the Journal

Produced by the Laboratory of Public Policies, Ruralities and Territorial Development (LaPPRuDes), a research group linked to the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology (IF BAIANO), Macambira Journal was created in 2017. Its biannual publication has a multidisciplinary character, aimed at the debate on issues relevant to the areas of Education, Humanities, Social and Environmental Sciences.

Announcement regarding the reopening of submissions

Dear author,

 

We inform you that article submissions have been reopened, following the update and revision of our entire editorial policy.

This update and revision were necessary in view of the changes made by CAPES in the way journals will be evaluated for the 2025-2028 four-year period, which now adopts the impact factor of articles and favors the condition that the journal and, above all, the article have good metric indicators.

Therefore, we have decided to readjust our editorial policy and reinvent ourselves in order to be able to apply for the indexing bases required by CAPES – which is not a quick process, but requires speed in implementing the changes.

A Revista Macambira (Rev. Macam.) é uma publicação eletrônica e periódica de caráter científico, criada e mantida pelo Laboratório de Políticas Públicas, Ruralidades e Desenvolvimento Territorial (LaPPRuDes), grupo de pesquisa do Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia Baiano (IF BAIANO).

A Rev. Macam. tem como objetivo a divulgação científica de livre acesso de trabalhos científicos / acadêmicos originais e inéditos e o debate de questões relevantes nas áreas de Educação, Ensino, Ciências Humanas, Sociais, Econômicas e Ambientais.

Os campos de estudo priorizados no escopo editorial são: Questões atuais de Educação e Ensino, Educação do Campo, Educação Ambiental, Trabalho e Educação, Agroecologia, Ciências Ambientais, Estudos Agrários, Família e Ruralidades, Políticas Públicas, Estudos Territoriais, Economia Solidária e Cooperativismo. 


Atualmente, a Rev. Macam. adotou a publicação anual em fluxo contínuo.
